Bobalon the Bowmaster and his three Half-elf cousins had established a secure position outside the massive doors of the Bear Castle. He was under orders that human leader of the Alfar Spectral Dragoons, but in his mind’s eye he saw the fearsome shape of the furious Garkin commanding him to destroy the war party that had invaded the Oak Forest and desecrated the Garkin’s alter. When he had led forty eight of his followers to the shores of the pool lying under Lokvas’ Waterfall, he knew about the invaders but did not intend to attack in force. However, that Elf had insisted that he remove them from the forest. As one of the tallest and strongest of the,Half-elves of the Oak Trees, the Zuebotschnik, Bobalon the Bow Master intended to become King of the Oak Forest. His simple plan was to earn the sponsorship and protection of the Alfar Elves after they defeated the Empire and restored their stolen lands. He may have been three feet tall, but he felt as though he were larger than a centaur, faster than a Syron warrior, and stronger than a Liosdoackalfar Prince.
